About our partnership

La Petite Ecole is starting to work in partnership with Quarry Mount Primary School. They
are planning to spend their money on teaching resources: books, cd-roms and games. La Petite Ecole is starting to teach at Quarry Mount Primary School after half term. They will be meeting with the teacher who teaches French to plan in more details what they will be doing, but the idea is that they take children in small groups, from year 4, 5 and 6, probably the children who have already gained a better understanding of French, to do more advanced work and look at life in France in different situations. Lessons will be based on role play and interaction, for example going to the market. These sessions will be every fortnight for 4 months. They are also planning to organise a party for the children to celebrate their learning.

They are planning to set up a French cafe where the children will serve food and drinks from a menu they design themselves. There will be French music playing in the cafe too, of course!
