About our school
Chatham Grammar School for Boys is a specialist language college and training school, thought to date back to 1817. The school has a very large three year sixth form with a significant proportion of external students (mixed gender) which provides students with access to a range of higher education courses and providers. It also has an accelerated curriculum with students taking their SATs, GCSEs and generally their Level 3 courses one year ahead of the typical age.
