Facing the future - responding to changes in ESOL

Dates:

The event will run from Friday 10 - Sunday 12 July 2009

  • Friday 10 July: 16:00 start, 18:30 dinner, keynote address 20:00
  • Saturday 11 July: 9:15 - 15:30
  • Sunday 12 July: 9:15 - after lunch

The event will be held in Leeds Trinity & All Saints, Brownberrie Lane, Horsforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS18 5HD.

Overview:

A National Association for Teaching English and Community Languages to Adults (NATECLA) conference that includes a wide range of workshops (full programme available to download at the bottom of this page), a resources exhibition with over 15 stands, an ESOL curriculum online demo, a talk by Ann Cryer MP and a Community Languages discussion and reception. In addition there will also be plenty of chances for networking and the opportunity to have your say on 'Voice of Conference' conversation.

Please note that there is a special Community Languages plenary on Saturday 11 July from 5.30 pm, and that attendance at NATECLA conferences can count towards your cpd requirement.
