Description:
Join teachers and school leaders for the Chinese education event of the year. This two day conference is held at the British Museum (day 1) and Lambeth Academy, London (day 2), and includes keynote speeches, interactive sessions and hands-on workshops delivered by experienced Chinese teaching practitioners, practical sessions aimed at schools new to China, and an exhibition of educational resources.
Objectives and learning outcomes:
The two-day conference on 3-4 July 2009 will give delegates new ideas to take back to the classroom, and will include: keynote presentations from national and international experts, practical workshops on teaching and learning of Mandarin Chinese, interactive workshops on teaching China across the curriculum, hands-on sessions for those looking to introduce Chinese in their school, an exhibition of educational resources and networking opportunities with Confucius Classrooms.
