Edexcel is recruiting Examiners for GCEs and GCSEs in Modern Languages
We have vacancies for languages examiners and moderators to work part-time during the 2010 exams series. We would like to hear from you if you have a degree, a teaching qualification and experience of teaching one of the following languages at either GCE or GCSE level:
- Arabic
- Bengali
- Chinese
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Modern Greek
- Russian
- Spanish
- Urdu
Examining offers an excellent opportunity to gain greater insight into the assessment of candidates as well as forming part of your continuous professional development. Our comprehensive standardisation programme ensures you are fully trained and provides you with expert support throughout the marking period.
Most examiners can carry out their work from home, marking on screen using ePEN. The marking takes place between May – July and, with an average allocation, your fee would be £700 -£1000.
